Mag. Rudolf Nekvasil
Born in Vienna, Professor Mag. Rudolf Nekvasil, passed the diploma examination for flute in 1968 with honors. Already during his studies Rudolf Nekvasil substituted in all major orchestras in
Vienna. In 1967 he became the First flutist of the ORF Symphony Orchestra. Three years later he joined the Staatsopernorchester, in 1973 he was admitted to the Wiener Philharmoniker.
Previously, Magister Rudolf Nekvasil devoted himself to his teaching career as an orchestral musician. From 1970 to 1973 he taught at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt.
